Cadillac Lite

Cadillac LITE is a fragrance specially developed for Asian markets, where fresher and lighter scents are preferred, Beauty Contact Vice President and Managing Director Aquillha Stephen told The Moodie Report. The original Cadillac men’s fragrance is available as both an edt (12% concentration) and edp (16%), with the latter resonating only with specific regions. “The edp – Cadillac Lux – works very well in the Middle East and in parts of America. It’s a strong and spicy fragrance, very masculine, but it’s not very well-accepted in Asia because Asians prefer lighter fragrances,” Stephen noted. In response, Beauty Contact came up with Cadillac LITE. “We’ve basically taken out a few of the spicy notes. It’s a lighter version but it is also a different fragrance [from the original] – it has different ingredients from the original Cadillac edt and edp.” Despite targeting Asian buyers at the show, Stephen has highlighted a “good response” from customers from the Middle East, including Israel, Jordan, Iran and Egypt.
